3(2x+16)/8-2 = 13
6x+48/8-2 = 13
6x+48-16/8 = 13
6x+48-16 = 13×8
6x+48-16 = 104
6x = 104+16-48
6x = 120-48
6x = 72
x = 72/6
x = 12
