Original Size = 5 inches

After enlargement :

[tex]1 \dfrac{3}{4} \times 5[/tex]

[tex]= \dfrac{7}{4} \times \dfrac{5}{1} [/tex]

[tex]= \dfrac{35}{4} [/tex]

[tex]= 8\dfrac{3}{4} \text { inches}[/tex]
