the zeros are x= 0,-5,-8. the zeros are the x values where the graph intersects the x-axis. to find the zeros, you have to replace y with zero then solve for x.

Can Be Written As

[tex] \rm \hookrightarrow \: {x}^{2} + 13x + 40[/tex]

Now,

[tex] \rm \hookrightarrow \: {x}^{2} + 5x + 8x+ 40[/tex]

[tex] \rm \hookrightarrow \: {x}(x +5) + 8(8x + 5)[/tex]
