Mean: Average of numbers in a set of data.

STEP 1: Add the numbers in the data set. In this case, you would add

10 + 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 + 14 + 14 + 14 +15

Step 2: Divide the sum by the number of digits you added.

In this case you would divide 117 by 9 and you will get a quotient of 13
