Okay. You have seven of her hands, and they are all 5/12 of a foot long.
There are two ways to do this: multiply or add, which ever you have been doing in class.
Adding way:  5/12 + 5/12 +5/12 + 5/12 + 5/12 + 5/12 + 5/12 = 35/12  You would need to turn it into a mixed number, which would be 2  11/12
Multiplication way:  7/1 x 5/12 = 35/12, same as 2  11/12.
