The formula for the area of a circle is [tex] \pi r^{2} [/tex]

To break it up, its π×r×r=A

The radius is 12inches

So the equation is 3.14×12×12

3.14×12=37.68

37.68×12=452.16

452.16 rounded is 452

A=452inches
