What is 258/300 written as a decimal and a percent???

To find a decimal/percentage, it's always easier to get the denominator to 100, if possible.

In this case, it is possible.

300/3 = 100
258/3 = 86

So we have 86/100.

The percentage is 86%

The decimal is 0.86.
