Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

Usually the x-axis is drawn as a horizontal line and the y-axis is drawn as a vertical line. The x and y axes are perpendicular (meet at 90 degrees) and intersect at the so called origin (0,0).

Thank you,

MrB
