-8*-4+y=37
32+y=37
y=5

If x=-4 then..

-8 (-4)+y=37

Multiply -8 and -4 which is 32

32+y=37

Move 32 to the right side of the equal sign and that becomes -32

Y=37-32

Solve the math 37-32=5

Y=5
