The formula for finding the area of a rectangle is A = b x h, so we are going to multiply 12 x 96, and the answer is 1152, so that's the area of the rectangle.

I was just learning about this. The area of a rectangle is BxH.  So 12x96 = 1152. So the area of this rectangle is 1152 square feet.
